It was massive and gray and had big ears and a long trunk. It was not a picture; it was not on a screen. Acorn Hill residents breathed the same air as an actual elephant at Zoo Atlanta. Zoo Atlanta drew record crowds this Spring Break. This did not deter anyone from taking in the wonder of the giraffes, gorillas, reptiles and many other creatures. "I liked the gorillas the best!" said Mayor Asher Ply Wood. Autumn Fern enjoyed feeding the parakeets. Sarah Daffodil and Nathaniel Barn Loft liked the House of Reptiles.
It was a good day.
The tigers appeared to be missing in action.
