Nathaniel Barn Loft enjoyed a weekend filled with big surprises at a dulcimer festival in southern Mississippi. Tops on the list was a brand new spruce and walnut McSpadden Dulcimer, which was presented to him by Jeff Hames, the 2006 National Dulcimer Champion, the featured performer at the festival and Barn Loft's favorite musician. Hames also worked with Barn Loft on several songs, dedicated "Black Mountain Rag" to him during the Saturday afternoon concert and invited him back to his camper to jam together after the concert.
