Cake, Cake, Cake

Cake season has finally arrived at Acorn Hill. Main House Presdient Dad always kicks it off as we celebrate his birthday on October 5th.

Dad's pineapple upside down cake was made by Sarah Daffodil. Four candles, each representing four decades and change, adorned the top. They were lit by Nathaniel Barn Loft. Dad was not able to blow out all four candles at once. "The candles were placed too far apart," said Barn Loft. Dad received a gift of Little Debbie Swiss Cake Rolls.

Residents celebrated early since Dad will be traveling on his birthday. On October 11th he will have his "real" party. There just might be more cake.
