Residents Honor Dad

What could be better after a long drive home than a private concert and pumpkin spice cake?

Main House President Dad rested his weary self in the new amphitheater in Acorn Hill while residents sang and played instruments for him. Mayor Asher Ply Wood played his first solo on his his dulcimer. This was one of many highlights. Dad won the door prize, The Gospel Road DVD.

Dinner, a picture show, then pumpkin spice cake followed inside the Main House. The evening ended with everyone watching The Gospel Road.

Love your precious family!!!

I don't know if you are in the market for something like this, but today I saw a blouse that looks like something you might wear for reenacting. Decent price on ebay and sold by a young woman on a sewing forum I am on. Here is this like in case you are interested: http://cgi.ebay.com/Brown-Calico-Prairie-Civil-War-Blouse_W0QQitemZ280409236383QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item4149b1639f#ht_500wt_959
