Arts from the Inside Out

As a caterpillar has to develop in its cocoon to become a butterfly, so go the arts that take flight in Acorn Hill.

Hour after hour, leaf after leaf, Sarah Daffodil makes her pressed-flower pictures. Note after note, fret after fret, Nathaniel Barn Loft plays his dulcimer music. Year after year of developing their arts in Acorn Hill has led these residents to teaching and demonstrating in Northeast Georgia.

White County Intermediate School invited Daffodil and Barn Loft to demonstrate at their school along with several other local artists. Students were urged to see what goes on "outside of the walls of the school."

Daffodil and Barn Loft were recognized with certificates of appreciation.
