12 Years of Barn Loft

Birthdays in Acorn Hill aren't just for a day. It is a birthday time. Last week Nathaniel Barn Loft had some birthday time!

The week of Barn Loft's birthday was filled with anticipation as cards streamed in. The evening prior to the big day Main House President Dad, Mayor Asher Ply Wood and Barn Loft fished at the pond. Later they ate hot dogs from the grill. Before dark, Main House First Lady Mom drove Ply Wood back to Acorn Hill. Dad and Barn Loft spent the evening hours at a different pond just a walk away.

After some night-fishing, Dad and Barn Loft spent the night in the open air in the bed of Dad's truck. Next time Dad won't forget the tent poles. To learn more about the birthday fishing trip, visit Barn Loft's outdoors blog.

The next day, Barn Loft's birthday, he got to eat one of his favorite meals, eat his favorite pie and open gifts. If you would like to learn more about his gifts visit Barn Loft's dulcimer blog.

All of Acorn Hill's citizens are thankful for 12 years of Barn Loft.
