Vantastic Vinegar

As part of an ongoing effort to get Acorn Hill citizens back to the basics, Main House First Lady Mom's eyes were opened to a couple of old, basic cleaners - vinegar and baking soda.

While reading through an issue of Mary Janes Farm, Mom found an interesting website http://www.vinegartips.com/. Cleaning at the Main House will never be the same. Vinegar will do anything that expensive cleaners can do. Where an abrasive is needed baking soda comes to the rescue. "Something that's really good about vinegar and baking soda is that they won't poison any Acorn Hill citizens," Mom said.

You can find gallon jugs of white distilled vinegar at any grocery store. Baking soda also comes in bulk and can easily be found.

I think that the vinegar leaves a great shine too. Today I'll go to armandhammer.com to learn more about baking soda!
